Cars of number 22 are parking in turning bay of the cul de sac
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road/cycleway category anonymously at 14:25, Thu 30 September 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 406241.
They have two cars on the driveway and up to two days in the actually turning bay and two behind them, which are overlapping the actual roadway. This is a constant problem. There is always a minimum of two cars on driveway and minimum of two in the turning bay side by side. Cars, bin trucks, deliveries and residents can not turn anymore and are forced to reverse into bends in order to get out of driveways… it’s absolutely ridiculous. Two bin lorries had to back out on Monday and they nearly hit my guests vehicle which was parked along the curb! It’s a hazard. Surely a turning bay should be vacant!!!

As it’s an ongoing issue we have already been advised to contact yourselves as the police are not responsible for laying road markings in designated turning bays. They are also not blocking cars in, rather stopping cars turning, it is an issue for yourselves to discourage from happening.
