Vine Street

Reported via desktop in the Sign (unlit) category anonymously at 10:11, Sun 10 October 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 406868.

My beautiful 2 1/2 cat was killed on Friday morning (night from Thursday to Friday)by a driver who must have raced up or down Vine Street like an idiotic maniac. Vine Street is a hill but there should not be any need to drive fast, too fast!! Obviously so far no one has owned up to killing our cat but the coward probably lives in the area and therefore should know to take care along Vine Street. There are small children around as well as many cats. Not that it will now help my cat, but please please, could signs be erected to tell drivers to slow down, because of the risk to children and animals. If you cannot help, please point me in the direction of Management, or Councillor as I will not let this go. The sign hopefully should remind the maniac drivers that they are not alone on the road!! Leo’s death was senseless, he was such a beautiful boy and did not deserve this. My contact details; 07917068750 or carinanoordhuizen@gmail.com. Many thanks in advance.
