Road Markings Brook street/Brownlow Street

Reported via mobile in the Road markings faded/missing category anonymously at 20:50, Sun 10 October 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 406898.

When at traffic lights heading along Brook Street going towards North Street at the lights the road marking are confusing and often cause traffic from right hand lane to go into the left hand lane of traffic. These have been done wrong.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because from an officer being onsite, the road markings are not the reason for the cars changing lanes. The road markings and signage for Brook Street traffic work together with the left lane for Town Centre and A52, while the right lane is for the A1(N) and Great Gonerby. This is echoed by the marking at the traffic signals opposite the Nobody Inn. For this reason we are not taking any further action on this matter. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
