Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 08:12, Mon 11 October 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 406912.

The footpath is now fully covered in grass, meaning you now have to walk on the road . In places the hedge has grown over the path making it impossible to walk on

  • As you can see from the second photo , it’s 10 months since this was first reported Other 2 photos were taken this morning . I can confirm 100% that nothing has ever been done to rectify this path . It’s the only path in the village giving access for villagers of low Baumber a route to walk to the villages only bus stop. This used to be nearly 1m wide , this morning while walking my dogs I met an elderly resident driving her disabled electric chair down the road in the wrong direction as she can’t use the path

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the footway condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County footway network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
