Private property hedge still obstructs footway (14b J-TCWI-671)

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on pavement/verge category anonymously at 14:27, Tue 19 October 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 407512.

During late August, this private garden hedge was reported obstructing the full width access of the public footway (especially for wheelchair pedestrians).

Whilst superficial pruning has marginally reduced the obstruction, much of this year’s normal regrowth remained. The hedge still encroaches 30cm+ beyond the property boundary, remaining a full-width restriction to pedestrians.

The owner must prune their hedge to within their property boundary, the gate posts are the reference point.

This is beyond the regular pruning line maintained until 3-4 years ago, and appears a policy change repetition of similar properties within Church Close. Refer Google Streetview.
