Flooding problem

Reported via Open311 in the Flooding category by Customer Services at 10:53, Wed 20 October 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 4167967.

A call to report a large dip in the carriageway which has developed following a reinstatement. Water now collects in this dip and caller states that it is like a lake. Water is splashing up onto callers property and her wall is sodden and damaged. During really heavy rainfall the water that has collected comes in through her front door.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because upon inspection the reinstatement has been completed to the required standard and has not changed the chamber of the road or caused a large dip in the carriageway. Both gullies are working. We also visited early morning after a night of rainfall. We will continue to monitor all highways as part of our ongoing inspection process. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
