New Traffic Lights at Hykeham Crossroads causing massive queues!

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 407639.

Since the new lights were installed, traffic on Newark Road is continually backed up during the day time even off peak now which it wasn’t before. It regularly backs up to The Fox and Hounds Pub and often beyond and at the opposite end it is blocked up to The Centurion Pub. I realise that in the evenings there is no problem but could the lights on Newark Road be left on green for longer during the day please?
