Narrowed footpath due to build up of debris.
Reported via mobile in the Collapsed verge category by Chris Hall at 12:37, Tue 26 October 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 407977.
The footpath running upto the corner has become narrower due to debris building up against the small wall dividing the footpath from the hedge. 20 years ago the wall could be seen and the footpath was approx 18” wider. Since that time, the hedge has grown over the path, leaf litter has built up against the wall and has now formed a bank.
The recent temporary road signage on the path/gutter combined with social distancing has meant pedestrians are often forced into the road. This on a blind bend has resulted in a number of close calls.
I will add photos when I next walk along that pavement.
