Poor illumination

Reported via desktop in the Street light category anonymously at 10:44, Wed 27 October 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408032.

The light from this lamp is being masked by 3 Council owned trees preventing light reaching my property. With the onset of longer, darker nights this issue requires addressing. I would suggest removal of offending trees or installing an additional lamp standard in Tamar Way.

  • There is no encroachment on the street light itself therefore no action will be taken by our team. With regards to the request for an additional column near your location, this would be on Tamar Way where the current lighting is owned and maintained by North Hykeham Town Council who you will need to contact directly. Street lights are in place to illuminate the highways and not property. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
