Lack of clear No Cycling signs on pavements
Reported via desktop in the Sign (unlit) category anonymously at 11:51, Wed 27 October 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408046.
The entire High Street needs clear No Cycling signs for the pavements, and clear Cycling signage for the ROADS. Too many adult male cyclists riding on pavements risking the safety of pedestrians, including women being threatened for protecting their safety, and these cyclists should be cycling on the road! The police have said they can't do anything. It's not safe for women pedestrians to walk to the shop without this problem.
Thank you for your report. We will investigate and make an update to this report within 14 days.

Thank you for reporting this although this is a police matter. The empty roundel on the signs for the pedestrianized areas means 'No vehicles' and this includes cycles, as a moving offence it is for the police to enforce. You can report this to them at https://www.lincs.police.uk/ contact/ Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: not the council's responsibility
