Excessive rain water down public footpath flood risk

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 408841.

Water running down from earth bank of public footpath during heavy rain. Flood pool at bottom risk to library ground flooding. Adjacent property 10 School Lane, has a drain cover half in the property under the boundary fence. Has been inspected by Anglian Water today who maintain it is not their responsibility.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. An officer has assessed the enquiry along with the images kindly provided. The surface water run off shown during periods of heavy rainfall from private land onto the public right of way which then subsequently contributes towards the minor flooding of the library car park is not considered a priority at this time. Thank you for reporting this matter.
