Lots of mud on westbound side of road
Reported via mobile in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 12:07, Fri 12 November 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409455.
There is a lot of mud on the westbound side of the road which is making the surface extremely slippery for bicycles and motorbikes. A road cleaner occasionally works this road, but seems very ineffective as it appears to compact and polish the mud into the road surface causing a slick topcoat. This has been a dangerous issue of many days now. The mud appears to be coming from the commercial waste transfer station or the landfill site.

We have made a temporary repair to keep this safe while we arrange to return and make a permanent fix.

I'm sorry, but placing 2 'mud on road' signs at the far end of a dead end road, and incidentally at the point that the mud is deposited ON the road is NOT a temporary repair! Then to categorise the complaint as 'Fixed' is disgusting, and a blatant disregard for the safety of all road users, especially those who use motorbikes and cycles!
