Street lighting repaired, trees cut back... branches left as trip hazzard.
Reported via desktop in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 18:45, Fri 12 November 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 409479.
The street light on the footpath area between Station Road/Asheridge/Fairleas has been repaired. However the tree around the top of the light has had branches cut to open up the light. However the small branches have been left in the area, covering the footpath and it a trip hazzard. You cannot see them easily as the leaves are all over the ground. At dusk, I tripped up on these small branches, luckily without injury.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. The location pin for the report was in the incorrect place to match the description so we have relocated it to where we believe the correct area is. The site was visited on the afternoon of 24/11/21 and the footpath was clear of branches/twigs. There were 3 small branches present but they lay on the grass area in between the footpaths so presently there is no issue/danger. Thank you for reporting this matter.
