  • This light still hasn't been fixed! It is incredibly dangerous for the elderly residents in the area. Especially with the cold weather already making it difficult for them to stay steady on their feet with no lighting it could be potentially life threatening if one of them were to have a fall. There's a build up of moss around some of the paving which is slippery (this has been reported to nkdc) but with the added pitch black darkness it is an accident waiting to happen. Also with vulnerable and elderly people living in this area its adding an extra barrier to them being able to leave their homes, which is difficult for some at the best of times. I believe almost 6 weeks is more than enough time to fix the problem. If it isn't resolved soon I am likely to contact local media.
