We are sorry that we are not taking immediate action with this report. Our records show that the drains in this area were cleaned in the last year and were running well. In times of extreme weather even the most efficient systems can become overwhelmed. If the problem recurs in less extreme conditions please report this again. Thank you for reporting this matter.

If they were cleaned by Lcc that explains why they're still blocked, get a company that knows what they're doing in. This drain merely diverts water to the bottom of church street.

Water coming out of the drain in the gutter, and flowing down Church Street. Noticed today 02/02/22 at approx. 11:30. There has been a small attempt to repair a pot hole, but the larger issue is the water leaking from the drain. The water is coming up from beneath the ground, out of the metal drain and flooding the road. See photo.
I have reported this issue to Anglian Water but nothing appears to be done about it, or there is a lack of urgency to attend and prevent this flooding of the road.
Over the duration of the last week or so there will have been a lot of water lost and running down the road. There is already an amount of debris catching in the gutter and mud alongside the pedestrian pavement caused by this water.
Could someone attend and make a proper investigation and carry out a thorough repair so this does not have to be reported again please?
