Almost impassable footpaths
Reported via desktop in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 17:26, Thu 9 December 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411323.
The footpath on the main A16 Utterby from The Poplars down to Chapel Lane has numerous areas where overgrown bushes are now a hazard, I have to walk on the verge to avoid getting poked in the eyes when out walking. This is exacerbated by the fact that the grass verges are massively overgrown and now the footpaths are a lot narrower than they should be. Additionally, the footpath at the layby on the northbound side by the bus stop is even more overgrown, and can only be walked past in the actual layby.

The hedges that are at the locations mentioned are the responsibility of the property owner/landowner to keep maintained. Due to the lack of Lincolnshire County Council resources at this present time due to a large volume of safety/pothole reports it would be suggested that possibly the local Parish could contact the residents/landowners regarding this matter. If this proves unsuccessful if you could possibly supply Lincolnshire County Council with the details so we are able to make contact, but in the first instance the Parish would be the suggested method. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: not the council's responsibility
