Drainage issue cause flooding and road destruction
Reported via mobile in the Flooding category anonymously at 10:01, Sun 12 December 2021
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411489.
From the junction with Eastfields, there is flooding going down Stone Pit Lane. The drain at the start is ineffective. The water floods there then crosses the road and pushes on down to the allotments. Today I noticed that this persistent problem has caused subsidence of the actual road causing the road to fall away about 12inches from the grass verge. When in flood, you cannot see this therefore it is a hazard. In addition to this, there are a number of potholes that have appeared due to the continuous water coverage of the tarmac.
