Pavements overgrown and too narrow to walk on safely.

Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 15:21, Sun 12 December 2021

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 411509.

Pavements overgrown with grass and weeds and shrubs. pavement very narrow heading towards swaton from helpringham. Disabled people (crutches) have to walk on road. Same would apply to wheelchairs or prams. Unsure when maintenance last done on this stretch of path, but it must be years.

  • B1394 in direction from Helpringham to Swaton, just after the railway bridge, near road sign for Thorpe Latimer. Pathways very narrow due to overgrowth grass, weeds, shrubs. Unable to walk safely, especially with wheelchair, prams, crutches etc. This forces people to walk on the road and there are nasty bends on the road. I have personally seen this . It is not safe. Pathways not received maintenance for many years.
