No Working Street Lighting In Fenton Fields
Reported via desktop in the Street light category anonymously at 10:42, Thu 6 January 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 413383.
I reported several months ago that a light in Fenton Fields wasn't working and now none of the 4 installed lights are working. This is a dangerous situation to both car drivers and pedestrians. You have stated in the past that these lights are the responsibility of the builder but he has ceased trading and cannot be contacted. Something must be done to resolve this ASAP unless you are prepared to wait for someone to be killed or seriously injured. Saying that they are the responsibility or someone who doesn't exist anymore is simply unacceptable. Please investigate and rectify ASAP!

State changed to: Investigating

Unfortunately Lincolnshire County Council are not involved in any maintenance issues at Fenton Fields, (unless ACM homes have entered into an agreement with a third party) the maintenance of the site still belongs to ACM homes. You will need to contact them directly. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: not the council's responsibility

You have mentioned ACM Homes being responsible for these lights several times before but as I have told you as well that they no longer exist and no one from the company can be contacted. I would suggest that if you insist on providing this standard 'not our problem ' answer that you actually try to contact ACM Homes yourselves and you will find it impossible like the residents of Fenton Fields have found. If you're unwilling to help resolve a serious health and safety issue I will be submitting a formal complaint to the council as this dangerous situation must be resolved by someone before there is a serious accident or injury

Seeing as there has been no progress on this matter I will be passing this complaint on my Council Councillor to pursue.
