Overgrown tree blocking pavement

A large tree on Newmarket Road is overgrown into the pavement. See photo. It blocks >50% of the pavement. There is not enough space for two people to pass each other. The branches of the tree and foliage needs to be cut back to the boundary of the property, rather than spilling into the pavement. Located near houses 62 - 64 Newmarket, opposite the convenience shop.

    The tree only needs trimming back to the edge of the property. Please do not allow the tree to be cut down entirely. We need to protect trees from destruction.

  • Dear Lincolnshire County Council. Do you have an update on this overgrown tree please? The tree in question still obstructs the pavement. It appears a few leaves may have been trimmed, but not enough to reopen the pavement to full width.

    Tree still reaching out into pavement preventing people from walking past easily (15/02/22). Requires a tidy up and trim to the edge of the wall please.
