Following “verge maintenance” the area has been left with mud and detritus substance, it has exposed a dangerously eroded footpath with deep large potholes on over an area that is unlit there is also a collapsed storm drain cover on the verge.

Kexby Lane pathway. Following verge edge trimming by a contractor ( RSM services) on December 22nd & 23rd. The pavement was left in a filthy and slippery condition and the verges churned up by the edging machine used and the waste (not all degradable) left on the grass verge. The work uncovered a badly deteriorated pathway that has not been maintained for many years. The substrate has become so eroded that it has exposed long, deep and dangerous potholes and trip hazards. The pathway is in many places unlit by street lighting and poses a threat to pedestrian safety. There is also a collapsed storm drain cover ( identified and sprayed with yellow line paint about 18 months ago) walking on the carriageway is also dangerous given the excessive speeds of vehicles along this road. I have reported and sent video evidence of this to Cllr Butroid but as yet have not received an acknowledgment.
