Sub standard surface repairs
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 414350.
The areas which were recently resurfaced are sub-standard and much more of the area should have been resurfaced to give a reasonable standard of road surface. The whole area encompassing both mini roundabouts and 10 metres of their approaches should have been resurfaced. The present surface is a disgrace to the town being the first major junction to be encountered from the north. The whole area is a patchwork with joints that do not provide a smooth transition from one portion of surfacing to the next. The contractor and supervising team should be ashamed of the the resulting hotch potch. There has been not attempt to rectify the continual flooding outside the filling station.

We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because the repairs completed were carried out to keep the highway safe and minimise the recurring pothole problem. We have submitted the site to be considered for a resurfacing scheme in future years as resources and priorities permit. Thank you for reporting this matter.
