Long deep potholes northons lane

Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 16:38, Friday 14 January 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 414354.

The pothole is in Northons lane just before Friday Bridge. The 'fix my street' map didn't work very well so not sure if they got the location so you might need to let them know.

  • This has still not been done. Some work was done today 20 odd meters up the road, why on earth did they not come a little further down and get this sorted?

  • Hi. I am after some information please. Welbourne Lane North has several terrible and big pot holes, one at the top of Welbourne Lane north which I always hit my wheel in when returning home, one right outside my house and several smaller ones down the length of the road. These pot holes were marked a few weeks ago presumably to be filled? Yet today Welbourne Lane North has been resurfaced in that abhorrent gravel you insist on using, yet the pot holes still exist. Is this normal practice in Lincolnshire? To waste tax payers money on sending someone out to examine and then mark the pot holes to be filled and then not bother with that? I was baffled to see the resurfacing road work men walk past a very deep pot hole clearly marked for repair, jump in the machine and just cover it in gravel still leaving the pot hole. As it stands at the moment, a road that didn’t require resurfacing has been resurfaced, and pot holes that desperately needed repair hasn't been done. So would you kindly tell me if these pot holes will now be filled in after the road has been resurfaced in that nasty, damaging, dangerous and noisy gravel? As I sit in my house now, all I can hear is an absolute racket as cars drive over the road, gravel pinging everywhere. So all in all, what was a perfectly good road (apart from a few pot holes) has been ruined, and the few pot holes that needed filling hasn’t been done. Good work. Good waste of tax payers money. I look forward to your response regarding pot hole filling.
