Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain category anonymously at 20:41, Friday 14 January 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 414371.

The surface water continues to run over ground from the blocked grate at the entrance to Jacksons Field all the way to junction with the A631 and is worse than ever this winter. Currently iced over and dangerous. Was marked fixed June 2021 ref:390808 but sadly that's not the case. Your officer visited Mill Lane 12/01/2022 to view separate issue ref:413249 and was seen to observe the running water. The problem is minuted with the Parish Council who are referring to County Councillor Stephen Bunney I have informed Cllr. Bunney that I would report once more.

  • I visit this area almost daily. The problem of surface water is not going away. The drains are blocked by Jackson Field down. The water has now created channels in the surface meaning that the water misses the drain covers etc. After heavy rain snow melt the water floods down the hill and creates a dangerous puddle on Gainsborough Road. This problem has been going on for several years. Something needs to be done. Drains cleared and road surface repaired. The pictures I have added were taken on January 18th Cllr S Bunney
