Why are you not sorting this problem???

Reported via desktop in the Crossing running with no pedestrians category by Andrew Smith at 07:32, Mon 17 January 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 414532.

Hi

The Langworth pedestrian crossing has been faulty for months. This is very dangerous as often the lights wont go to red when the user pushes the button. or the lights keep going to red with no one around , ie all night long. i believe this is a simple fix as I often walk down the lights when they keep going red and gently push all the pedestrian buttons, yes this stops the continual repeat of red , red ,red lights. please can someone attend to this, be aware , it is itermittent , must be one button sometimes sticks or doenst work , may be more than one?

  • Hello

Not sure when this was resolved, i took my dog for a walk yesterday at about 5pm

It took three attempts by pushing the button to mke the lights change to red!!

I guess this may be the initial cause of the problem? as it cna be very frustrating when you cant get the crossing lights to work , maybe it then gets an extra hard push on the button whcih makes it stick on?

This needs sorting before someone cant get the lights to change and geets hurt or worse crossing the road.
