Road markings missing on Watts Lane
Reported via desktop in the Road markings faded/missing category anonymously at 17:39, Fri 21 January 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 414999.
The road markings at the end of Watts Lane have worn away. There are no markings to signify to motorists where the edge of the junction is. With the recent construction of the new Coop, pharmacy and take away fish and chips restaurant, there is a significant increase in traffic now using this junction. The road markings need reinstalling to ensure this exit onto Newmarket remains safe and motorists stop to look into the carriageway and give way accordingly. The pedestrian pelican crossing could also do with its road markings given a refresh and the gutters cleared of all the stones, mud and debris built up over the years of no road sweeping.
