  • Lincolnshire County Council - any update on when these works will take place to fill in potholes, and smooth the road surface, please? I cycled this road today (25/02/22) and it is in a terrible state. No works have been done. The potholes are still present and of great concern. Further damage and injury highly likely.

    Dear Lincolnshire County Council. This pothole has still not been fixed. There appears to have been some attempt at other potholes along this road, but not this one. This is one of the worse holes in the road. For scale, the bicycle wheel rim is 29 inches in diameter. I would estimate the hole is over 40mm deep in most parts. As this road is only wide enough for one car, it is difficult to avoid this pothole. I'm sure you will have this on your to-do list, but could you fix it thoroughly before there are claims for damage to vehicles and bicycles please. There are numerous potholes along this road. It will be most efficient to fill in and repair all of the holes while you are attending to these road defects.
