Dangerous pothole now

Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 14:20, Tuesday 25 January 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 415408.

There is a very deep pothole just as you enter the village of Fenton on Sutton Road. Opposite the pothole somebody has started to make aa access into the field and the verge has been dug out right up to the tarmac and there is now a 6 to 8 inch drop alongside the tarmac and if you swerve to miss the pothole you finish up in a deeper hole opposite. Have they got permission to dig out the verge? If they haven’t would you instruct them to reinstate it is that it is safe.
