Pothole on road/cycleway problem

Claim form received - incident date 29.1.22 - Pothole - Using the road, driving at 35mph, hit the pothole and tyre instantly punctured.

  • Lincolnshire County Council - any update on when these works will take place to fill in potholes, and smooth the road surface, please? I cycled this road today (25/02/22) and it is in a terrible state. No works have been done. The potholes are still present and of great concern. Further damage and injury highly likely.

    Dear Lincolnshire County Council. I cycle this road today (08/03/22) and there are still significant and dangerous defects to the road. See the photos added to this report and the others of the same nature. There are multiple potholes along the length of the road at the locations previously reported on FixMyStreet. While it appears some holes have been filled in, there remains many hazards. I do not understand why your staff or contractors have not attended to all of the defects, and have only selected a few holes to fix. It feels like they haven't even assessed the road for a full picture of the damage being caused. This means they are going to have to come out again and repair the other potholes which remain, and will get raised by members of the public, again. This problem is not fixed. Please can you help?
