Mud in footpath

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 416520.

The footpath between Leverton and Old Leake is a disgrace. Absolutely covered in mud and grass. Needs seriously cutting back. Struggle to get a pram or wheelchair along path as less than a ft wide in places.

  • After assessment we have requested that this footpath needs to be included in a future programme of siding independently of this enquiry. Siding is a treatment where the full width of the footpath is restored by removing grass, weeds and soil mechanically or manually. We receive many requests each year across Lincolnshire and assess them all to treat the areas which have the greatest need that year. This means that some sites may not be treated this year but will be assessed again in subsequent seasons. Thank you for reporting this matter.
