Missing chevron sign on Brackenborough Road
Reported via desktop in the Sign (unlit) category anonymously at 09:00, Monday 7 February 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 416598.
The chevron sign is missing on a tight corner on Brackenborough Road, Louth. The chevron should be installed to warn motorists the road bends to the left (heading out of Louth). The post is still in situ, but the sign has gone. See photos. An image from Google Street View in 2021 shows the sign was damaged and left on the ground next to the post. It appears the sign was damaged and knocked off. Without the sign there is a risk a vehicle travelling too fast could end in the ditch. Noticed yesterday 06/02/22.
