Uneven footpath outside school
Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 15:10, Mon 7 February 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 416634.
This issue has been reported before (about 18 months ago) as the pavement outside our school is pitted and uneven due to years of footfall from our school (we have over 300 children attending our school). It has been patched up twice. We have our school lunches delivered by Good Lookin' Cookin' (GLC) everyday (which is one of the reasons why the issue was reported last time). The only way to deliver the meals is to park in the school gate entrance and push/pull the laden food trolleys up the hill and into the main reception. Today, due to the uneven and lumpy path, some of the food boxes fell off the trolley and into the road. This then caused an issue with the children getting their lunch on time as GLC then had to report the accident and send some more food items to school. The whole pavement could do with a complete covering to make it more even for these food trolleys, and safer for our pupils and their families, and safer for the general public.
