Worn out H-bar line, requesting double yellow lines

Reported via desktop in the Road markings faded/missing category anonymously at 19:32, Mon 7 February 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 416668.

The H-bar line at the front of the driveway access to Cecil Mews (1, 2 & 3) and the rear of 18 Cecil Street is almost fully worn out. There has been a marked increase in cars parking partially (and sometimes almost fully) over the access either side making it often very difficult to either access the properties or to leave the driveway. We have previously been told that Highways will not repaint the H-bar line as it is not enforceable, therefore we would like to request that double yellow lines are painted in front of the driveway, to replace the H-bar line, to discourage other road users from parking over the access point. Russell Court, further up Cecil Street towards Newport, has double yellow lines across their access and we cannot see a reason why the same should not be applied to Cecil Mews.
