Pavement covered in mud from agricultural traffic. Grass verge growing across pavement.

Reported via mobile in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category anonymously at 10:56, Monday 14 February 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 417194.

It is very slippery to walk to the postbox and bus stop. This has been a problem for over a year but is worse in wet weather.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report due to the reasons for this issue being due to the seasonal weather conditions and the current high level of agricultural traffic at this time of year. Although not ideal, it is to be expected at this time of year and extra care should be taken when using the footways. The level of pedestrian traffic is at a level where risk is minimal to pedestrians. Upon inspection, it is already showing that it is drying out and this will naturally allow the mud to clear and reduce to soon improve the issue reported. Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
