The Hobhole Bank is dangerous!

Where would you like me to start?!! The Hobhole Bank from the end of the B1184 to the Forty Foot Lane turning has too many potholes to mentions The road dips to both sides and anyone travelling in excess of 25mph is risking ending up in the ditch. This was first reported by me in Jul 21 but apart from some frankly pointless hole filling nothing has been done. Past the Forty Foot Lane turning to Fodder Dyke Bank, there are fewer potholes but the road is in such a bad state that again it is frankly dangerous to travel down!

When will something be done to sort out this road?

We acknowledge your concerns and accept that the highway has deteriorated in condition. We have assessed the fault in accordance with our Highways Infrastructure Asset Management Plan and it does not require urgent action. If the fault deteriorates significantly please report this again to us. Thank you for reporting this matter.
