Reported via desktop in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 09:40, Sun 20 February 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 417833.

Last year or the year before one of the trees next to this property fell into London Road. there are still several over grown trees close to the road which i reported years ago as needing cutting back. how long before another one falls and maybe hits a car?

  • What is being done to get these trees at least reduced in height before the winter storms? a tree in Meeres Lane had to be quickly felled at most likely great cost to the council/highways during the storms earlier this years before it could fall due to a cracked trunk.

Surely the council can approach irresponsible owners and ask them to get them trimmed before the council/highways has to step in and foot the bill? hopefully before it ends up across the main road potentially hitting a car and or one of the new houses opposite.
