Non-existent verge as pavement and road now one, with muddy gravel part way across
Reported via desktop in the Collapsed verge category anonymously at 22:18, Tue 22 February 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 418173.
When the ‘new path’ was created it was edged against the road by a narrow trench of gravel.. The road is narrow and so cars ran over the gravel from the outset. The constant driving over the gravel, and vehicles parking on the grass and mud on the opposite side of the road have caused a dangerous mixture of mud and gravel over a large stretch of the road. Cycling, running and walking on the road/ path is difficult and potentially dangerous

IS this supposed to have been resolved? All that has happened is some more gravel has been piled on top of the previous gravel… lorries & passing vehicles already causing it to be distributed on the road and path… no kerb, no permanent definition to the edge of the road/ path.. Is this temporary or supposedly a ‘fix’?
