Overgrown hedge

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 13:33, Wednesday 23 February 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 418237.

The hedge on the left hand side of the B1188 going towards Branston is very overgrown making it very difficult for pedestrians and near impossible for cyclists. We are keen for this to be cut back before the nesting season. The landowner has been approached but to no avail.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report because this hedge has already received a cut after the most recent nesting season, this was then inspected by us to confirm the cut back was adequate and that it was safe. This was only recent so unfortunately we doubt they have plans to schedule another cut, additionally there shouldn't have been too much growth. An officer will inspect the hedge when next in the area but can not guarantee that another cut will be completed before the next nesting season. Thank you for reporting this matter.
