We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. We have visited the site and can see there is work currently happening at the property. Although there is infringement into the footway there is still adequate room to use the footway safely. We will reinspect this in the near future and should it not be temporary we will contact the property owner. Thank you for reporting this matter.

The damaged footpath as reported practically two years ago still has not been fixed, as indicated by the attached photos. I can confirm that there are no further on site works to be completed, there never was. This was confirmed to one of your officers by phone. They were to update the system, this doesn't seem to have been the case, as nothing has progressed. The footpath is deteriorating further due to the lack of repair with additional sections of tarmac are now braking up. The stone was put into the collapsed section of footpath as a temporary measure so no one fell in. Obviously, this is how it remains. In good faith, the stone was put in to help make the footpath safe and the cones left in place as a warning to user's. You obviously think this is acceptable as the Highway Authority have done nothing about. I will now report this on a weekly basis, in an attempt to get this fixed, as it has been far too long.
