Reported via mobile in the Damaged road edge, encroaches more than 100mm category anonymously at 18:43, Thu 10 March 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 419684.
The continual & relentless abuse of the Lane by tankers entering and exiting the sewage works has destroyed the road surface and road edge. This has also made a mud hazard that is in dire need of cleaning away.

We know the carriageway is failing at this location. We have works in the early planning stages of reinforcing the bank and then resurfacing the carriageway. The tankers that use this road are accessing the Anglian Water treatment plant. There is no other access available for these vehicles. Thank you for reporting this matter.
State changed to: No further action

The photos taken on 19 April 2022 shows the inadequacy of the turning circle for the entry of large tankers to the sewage works. The weather has been particularly dry for some time but you can imagine the road conditions when wet with 4 tankers per day taking part-treated sewage to Lincoln for final action and disposal.
Given the huge number of new home currently being built in Saxilby, the works require an upgrade now and so avoid such journeys by these large vehicles. However, with the current financial situation such an outcome is unlikely!

So the answer is, "Tough, live with-it. Oh and we're increasing council tax, cough up or you're going to court." I do hope the council executives enjoy their salary packages.
