Shaped hedge

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown tree/hedges category anonymously at 23:26, Friday 18 March 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420535.

At the Junction of Tritton Road and Doddington Road, The hedge of 142 Doddington Road has been shaped symmetrically over a long period, this shape can only be maintained by halving the pavement. This can be seen by the discolouration of the paving slabs.

The problem is that it is difficult to see around the corner if anybody is coming the other way to and from the crossing.

Over the growing season the available footpath gets narrower almost too narrow for a mobility scooter user to get past without brushing his head against the hedge.

The Footpath photograph was taken today 18 March 22. The Road shot is a Screen shot from street view.
