Long lines of potholes and ruts on B1190 in Horsington
Reported via desktop in the Pothole on road/cycleway category by CHRIS BATES at 11:37, Mon 21 March 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420706.
For several months long lines of potholes through Horsington on the B1190 from the junction of Horncastle Road with Main Street, through the village to junction of Moor Lane with Main Street and Bucknall Road have developed. In places these are deep, especially on corners, presenting a hazard to all vehicles using the road but especially to motor cycles, cycles and horse riders. The road is busy with agricultural vehicles, cars, articulated and delivery vehicles and carries a public bus service. Despite numerous complaints by individuals and the parish council nothing has been done and these long lines of ruts, in the centre of the carriageway and at the kerbside continue to spread, causing danger and also difficulty to pedestrians crossing the road.
