The road which was resurfaced using "revolutionary" recycled tarmac is cracking along it's width presumably along the original concrete foundation bays,

Reported via desktop in the Road surface issue category anonymously at 16:03, Thursday 31 March 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 421501.

Unless action is taken to prohibit the constant use by 40 ton HGV's the road will be back to the diabolical state it was prior to resurfacing.

  • We are sorry but we are not taking immediate action with this report. We fully appreciate your observations but the only other route that they could use would be Church Street which is certainly not the best route but HGVs do use this one at times and going through the town centre is again not suitable. Thank you for reporting this matter.
