Damage to edge of pavement

Reported via desktop in the Damaged/missing paving slab category anonymously at 11:43, Mon 25 April 2022

Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 423132.

Some months ago we reported damage to some paving slabs at the edge of a footpath that had been damaged following a vehicle crashing into them. Some immediate action was taken to secure the slabs to prevent them falling on the footpath and cause a safety issue for residents. However, this is a temporary solution and no repair has been done to permanently fix the problem. Can this be resolved?

  • Hi more damage has been incurred and i believe it is dangerous for pedestrians. Also pushchair and wheelchair users are finding it hazardous. There's debris on the road and pathway as the edges are being vandalized by local yobs.

  • This has received no attention. It remained a hazard. Several young children use this footpath. This is in urgent need of attention. It has been reported for some 6 months now with no action other than the place of bollards in the area. It is simply not safe.
