  • We are very sorry that we cannot act further on this request. The Council does understand and sympathise with your concerns and frankly no one should want to see or cause the death of small animals on Lincolnshire's roads. However there simply are no signs nationally approved under regulations to warn drivers of such an issue. It must also be recognised that the Highway Authority could not manage such an undertaking as it would require a proliferation of signs placed across the whole of the County with the overall effect considered to be minimal, as it is felt that most drivers are likely to take little or no notice of these signs. Thank you for reporting this matter.
