Trip hazard caused 80yo woman to fall
Reported via desktop in the Trip hazard/uneven surface category by Cllr Richard Cleaver at 07:01, Tue 26 April 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 423189.
Report from resident: "the poorly surfaced and uneven pavement on Priory Rd outside Melrose opposite the Priory caused an 80 year old woman to have an awful fall on Friday. She was badly injured and there was blood all over the pavement. I realise that resources are badly stretched but as this is the main footpath to Morrisons, Aldi and now 2 care homes and soon hundreds more homes if it could be prioritised"

Lincs County Council don’t seem to care a less about the numerous trip hazards along footpaths, instead leaving their insurer liable for the resulting claims to the general public, only carrying out the required repairs after someone has been injured. Really the general public shouldn’t even have to report uneven footpaths, if the council ran any sort of inspection regime.
I wonder why Empingham Road has received complete new footpaths, does a Conservative County Councillor live there?
