Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 423971.

Tree branches and hedges overgrown the fence from the public road onto driveway and back lawn. It's also blocking the sunlight. Needs trimming

  • We are sorry we are not acting on this enquiry. This is a private boundary hedge and it is not Lincolnshire County Council's responsibility to maintain it. The hedge will have surrounded the original plot of land prior to its development. This means that regardless of the placement of adjacent fences, it is still a boundary hedge and legally maintained by the adjoining private property. Please note it must be maintained by them on both the highway and the property side.
