  • From Clay Lake/ Pecks Drove West junction, south along Spalding Drove to junction Riverside Park. Remove nettles from beside the fir trees south to the second telegraph pole. Cut back brambles and hedges to height 150 cm and back 30 cm from the inside edge of the footway. Remove all debris. Overgrown vegetation is impeding pedestrian route resulting in people and children walking in the road which is clearly unsafe.

  • Hello not sure how this ended up under road marking. I tried to go into the footpath menu. Please acknowledge the urgent need to clear the vegetation. It gets worse be the day now that growth has resumed with the rain arriving. Thank you.

  • Great news, we’ve had a look at the issue and we have now passed to our Highways Officers for the team to assess what can be done to resolve the matter. We’ll let you know when the assessment has taken place.

  • We're sending you this message to let you know that we've assessed the road condition and at this time it does not require urgent repair. However we have identified this location for a larger scale improvement scheme. At this stage we are unable to give specific dates for this or definitely commit to the scheme because we prioritise these schemes based on condition compared with the rest of the County road network and the resources available to us each year. We will continue to monitor this location as part of our routine inspections of the highway in the meantime.
Thank you for reporting this matter.

State changed to: No further action
