Boston Road Sibsey
Reported via mobile in the Pothole on road/cycleway category anonymously at 19:59, Wednesday 11 May 2022
Sent to Lincolnshire County Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 424211.
Previous pot holes and road works have exacerbated the issue. The level crossing on the Boston Road, Sibsey, is becoming increasingly dangerous/hazardous as it's becoming more pronounced. The rail and surrounding area are not in-line with each other so it's significantly raised, so it's advisable to slow down significantly as you approach the level crossing, so not to damage your vehicle. Ramp signs have been there for sometime now and nothing seems to be getting done about it. Drivers get impatient with drivers slowing down to cross the level crossing and have been known to overtake on the actual level crossing, so posing even more of a risk. I appreciate that it's probably Network Rail who are responsible for this, bit as it crosses the Boston Road in Sibsey, I feel that the council should be putting pressure on Network Rail to get this sorted.
