Hedge alongside full length of cycle path from Manthorpe to Belton

Thorn briars growing out of hedge - face laceration and risk of blinding. Second time I have struck one of these unseen, recently on 12 May 2022 at 15mph. It felt like I was hit in the face by a cricket bat. Thorns caused lacerations to my mouth and chin with extensive bleeding. Thank god it was not my eyes - I would have been blinded for sure. The hedge looks cut back, but the briars grow out quickly in spring and are difficult to see. Watch out!
